The Back40 Music Festival is Southern Manitoba’s best kept musical secret – until now. Situated in a beautiful park in the heart of Morden, Manitoba, the Back40 Music Festival has struck a balance of showcasing beloved local talent and welcoming popular touring artists. We also nurture local talent all year long by curating special events throughout the year. Since the Back40 Music Festival’s inception in 1989, our mission is to keep homemade music alive while also supporting talent from across Canada when we celebrate at our annual festival.

Join us on Saturday, June 7th and be a part of the evolution of a historical, long standing music festival in Southern Manitoba. Spend some time with us in Morden’s beautiful central park for a day of fantastic music, local craft beer and food trucks, and an artisan village. Stay the night in one of our local hotels or camp up at our lake. Need something to do before you head over for the music? Stop at Dead Horse Cider on your way in, check out the Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre, have lunch at Rendezvous, or go for a hike on our lake trail.
